From the recording Hey Blue
"Hey Blue" is a song originally written for my friend who has spent years working in law enforcement. The purpose was to provide encouragement to him and all public servants who are fighting for you and me. Sadly, police and border patrol agents are particularly demonized - currently this is at an all time high. Our brave men and women in uniform need our support. We must restore the relationship between law enforcement and communities, if we hope to have a united civil society. We are pleased to see that Hey Blue has begun to resonate with people serving in law enforcement in many areas of the U.S. For this reason we are making Hey Blue available to download and stream for free so that it can reach a bigger audience. That said, if you feel led to pay any amount for the song,100% of all payments will be given to public service charities and non-profits (law enforcement, veterans, military and first responders). Thank you.

Lyrics
Verse I
It’s 4 in the morning, another late-night shift, he hears the radio call and, takes another sip
The coffees’ grown colder, and he’s feeling older…it’s just part of the job
Chorus
Hey hey…. it’s all ok, give blue a break, could be your life on display
(hey, hey)
Hey hey…. give ‘em your hand, one leap of faith could mean you’re life-long friends
(hey hey)
Verse II
Another night in the city, ain’t no empty streets
A missing girl found in Tucson, they were searching for weeks
Riots and looting, the drugs and mass shootings…and the borders’ unsafe
Chorus
Bridge
This racial division, confusing the children
Divided we’re weaker, united we’re strong
Verse III
They don’t want your envy, don’t even seek your respect,
But trust would be fitting, for someone sworn to protect
They never plan to be hero’s…but then again, they’re not NERO….
They’re just doing their job
Chorus, end
